Hello all and welcome to our travel blog! Our names are Keeshia and Joey and we’re a married couple in their 30s who are absolutely CONSUMED by wanderlust! There are many different places that we plan to travel to, and our bucket list continues to grow with time. If you are reading this and are wondering where our story began, then you’ve come to the right place!
We first met our junior year of high school in a quiet little town in Connecticut. Joey, who found himself VERY far from home (Florida), was the new kid at the school. For some reason, finding Floridians in the Northeast (other than myself) is exciting to me, so I made it my mission to befriend this guy! We became great friends all throughout junior and senior years of high school, but quickly drifted apart as our college paths led us to opposite ends of the country. I went to Massachusetts and Joey headed back closer to home in Florida.
Fast-forward 4 years— we both find ourselves living in the same city–the big apple–the city that never sleeps—New York, New York (cue Sinatra voice). We rekindled our friendship quickly through many weekends of adventuring throughout this amazing city. We’re still trying new foods and incredible eateries in all the different neighborhoods and we’re still hunting down street art covering the walls of this huge concrete jungle. Our shared love and passion for food, local beers, art, theater, music, and overall adventure has brought us closer than ever.
We hope that our travel blog will entertain friends, family and fellow travelers, and will also help others with their plans or maybe even encourage others to get outdoors and explore our beautiful world and meet the beautiful people that inhabit it! We will make sure to fill you in on our daily activities one way or another, providing you with our favorite things to do, places to eat, and of course tons of pictures!
